Aaron J. Farmer

Hi, I’m Aaron! I was born and raised in Mira Mesa, a suburb of San Diego, and from an early age I learned the value of hard work, teamwork, and family. In high school, I was captain of both the soccer and volleyball teams, and later at San Diego State, I found my second family with Sigma Nu fraternity—where I even earned “Brother of the Year.” Some of my closest friendships to this day started there.

After college, I worked in banking and later as a forensic accountant (yes, the kind that testifies in court!). But in 1996, I realized I wanted something more personal—something where I could help people directly. That’s when I launched my insurance career as a scratch agent. Over the years, I’ve been fortunate to be recognized with some of the industry’s top honors, but what really matters to me is the thousands of clients and families I’ve been able to protect.

In 2012, I added flood insurance to the mix, and that venture grew into what is now California Flood Insurance Services. By 2019, I branched out to start Jump Insurance Services, giving me the freedom to serve people in new and better ways.

When I’m not helping clients, you’ll find me spending time with my wife, Desiree, and our two amazing kids, Peyton and Olivia. Our family wouldn’t be complete without our two chocolate labs, Annabella Jovi and Bodie, who we jokingly call our “third and fourth children.” Life at home is full, happy, and sometimes a little messy—but I wouldn’t trade it for anything.

I’m also a big fan of golfing, cheering on the SDSU Aztecs, cooking up something delicious, demolishing a plate of carne asada nachos, and enjoying a great glass of red wine with family and friends.

At the end of the day, I love what I do because it’s about people, relationships, and making sure you can enjoy the life you’ve worked hard to build—without the worry.
